    Move Domains Across Resellers

    ### Scope

    This article outlines how to change reseller territories on a domain.

    Requirements

    • Super User Access to Manager Portal

      Log in to the Manager Portal

      Navigate to Domains

    3. Search for the domain to modify

    4. Click Edit

    5. Select the new Reseller

    6. Click Save


    After moving the domain/s to the new Reseller account, make sure to also update the Preferred Server Location of the domain and the devices to the new Reseller account.

      Under the domain settings, go to Defaults, and scroll down to Preferred Server Location

      After selecting the new Preferred Server Location, these options will appear.

      Check them, and that will initiate a reboot to the existing devices to update their Preferred Server.


    If the domain has Teammate set up, make sure to also update the Reseller.

      Log in to Teammate Connector.

      Search for the Reseller.

      Select the new Reseller. Select Confirm Selection, then select Change Reseller.


    There are instances in which the DIDs are provisioned on a server different from the one associated with the new Reseller account. In such cases, please compile a complete list of all DIDs for each domain and submit it in a new ticket to the Porting Department, requesting that they be migrated to the new partner’s preferred server.
