Android Native Phone App
This article provides a step-by-step guide to configure the native phone application on Android devices for use with your Hosted PBX service.
Scope:
The following steps will allow you to configure the Android phone application for use with your Hosted PBX service.
Requirements:
- Android OS 4.1.1 or higher
- SIP Credentials - Find how to get them here
Account Setup

Open the Phone application

Select the ellipses menu at the top right

Select Settings

Select Calls

Select Calling accounts

Select SIP accounts

At the top right select the + icon

Select each field and use your SIP credentials to fill them out
- 1Username: Enter the Username
- 2Password: Enter the Password
- 3Server: Enter the Domain/Proxy
- 4Select Optional Settings to show all
- 5Authentication username: Enter the Username
- 6Outbound proxy address: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com

At the top right select SAVE

You should now see your account listed. Press the back arrow

Select Make calls with

Select Ask first

Select Use SIP calling

Select For all calls

Enable Receive incoming calls

Select the back arrow until you get to the home screen

From the dialer enter a number you wish to call

Press the green dial key

You will be prompted with a screen asking which account to use

Select the SIP account you set up above
