Unlock Google Voice Number for Porting

This article outlines how to unlock a Google voice number in order to port it away

Requirements

Access to your Google account.

   Using any web browser navigate to https://www.google.com/voice/unlock

   Print the web page as a PDF to provide to the Porting Team

   If you only have one Google Voice number, click Unlock my number underneath your Google Voice number

or 4. If you have more than one number, select the number you wish to port from the drop-down menu, and then click Unlock my number. 5. Click Continue to confirm that you wish to unlock your number 6. Sign in to Google Wallet to complete your port-out process 7. Once finished, send a screenshot of your Google Voice number in PDF form to us.
