    How to Set Up Voicemail to Email

    ### Scope

    The following document will show you how to setup voicemail to email on a user.

    Requirements

    • Manager Portal Access

    Note: If updating another user you will need to have the user scope of Office Manager or above

    Configure Voicemail to Email for Another User

      Log in to the Manager Portal.

      Click on the Users tab and click on the user that you want to enable voicemail to email on.

    3. Click the Voicemail tab for the user.

    4. Scroll down to locate the Notifications section and click on Email notifications, ensure Receive an email for new voicemail is checked off. (Below are what each option does.)

      Click on Save.

    Configure Voicemail to Email for Your Own User

      Log in to the management portal.

      Click on your name at the top right and then click on the Messages tab.

    3. Click on the Settings tab.

    4. Scroll down to locate the Notifications section and click on Email notifications, ensure Receive an email for new voicemail is checked off. (Below are what each option does.)

      Click on Save.

    Email Type

    • Send With Hyperlink - Sends an email notification with a hyperlink to the manager portal voicemail box Note: If you are not already logged into the portal, the first login will take you to your accounts landing page. Subsequent unread voicemail emails will go directly to the users voicemail box.
      • This option will not include Caller ID or the caller's number, as this is the HIPAA compliant solution.
    • Send w/ Attachment (Leave as New) - Send email notification with the recording as an attachment to the email
      • This option will include Caller ID and the callers number.

    After Email Notification

    • Leave as New - Send an email notification following the email type selected to the email and then leaves the voicemail as a new voicemail on the phone and the portal.
    • Move to Saved - Send an email notification following the email type selected to the email and then moves the voicemail to the saved folder on the phone and the portal.
    • Move to Trash - Send an email notification following the email type selected to the email and then moves the voicemail to the trash on the phone and the portal.
