Axis A8105-E Manual Configuration

This article provides a step-by-step guide to manually configure an Axis A8105-E device to register with a VoIP platform, covering how to obtain SIP credentials, enable SIP settings, and register the account.
Scope:
The following steps will allow you to register an Axis A8105-E onto our VOIP platform.
Items Needed
- Access to Axis A8105-E Web GUI
- Access to the Manager Portal (Office Manager or Above)
Obtain SIP Credentials
- 1Using any web browser log in to the Manager Portal.
- 2Click on Users at the top.

- 3Find your extension number. At the far right click on the pencil, and then Phones.

- 4Click on Add Phone.

- 5Leave as default and then click Add.

- 6The page will refresh and you will now see your extension in the list. Click on the pencil again.

- 7Note the information in the popup. You will need it for the next step.

Enable SIP
- 1Click VoIP.
- 2Click SIP Settings.
- 3Under SIP Settings, Checkmark Enable SIP.

- 4Under Port Settings:
- RTP Start Port: 29000
- 5Under Audio Codec Settings:
- Selected Codecs: PCMU and PCMA
- 6Video Direction: Send and Receive.

Registering Account

Click VoIP.
- 2
Click Account Settings.
- 3
Click Add.
- 4
Fill out the following:
- Check Mark Account Enabled
- User ID: From the first section
- Check Mark Use User ID as Authentication ID
- Authentication ID: Same as User ID
- Password: From the first section
- Domain Name: From the first section
- Registrar Address: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com
