    Manually Update Outbound Proxy on a Device

    Learn how to manually update the outbound proxy settings on your device

    Scope

    The following steps will allow you to update a desk phone outbound proxy manually

    Requirements

    • Access to Phone Web GUI

    • Access to the Manager Portal / Web Portal

    • sbc-las.ucaasnetwork.com ---> sbc-phx.ucaasnetwork.com

    • sbc-grr.ucaasnetwork.com ---> sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com

    • sbc-atl.ucaasnetwork.com

      Using any web browser navigate to the IP address from the above step

      Log in.

      Click on Account at the top and then select Register.

    4. 4

      Update the Outbound Proxy FQDN based on the chart at the top of the doc.

      Click Confirm

      The page will refresh. Look at the top under Register Status. It should now say Registered

      Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone

      Log in.

      Once logged in, navigate to Settings > SIP

      Click on the plus next to Outbound Proxy

      Under Address enter the Outbound Proxy from the portal

      Click on Savelocated at the bottom of the page

      The phone should flash and then attempt a reboot process.

      Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone

      Log in.

      Navigate to Accounts > Account 1 > General Settings

      Look for the Outbound Proxyfield.

    5. ClickSave and Apply

    6.Once the phone registers, you will see the phone icon turn green at the top left

    You can verify the update of the OB proxy on the phone hardware inventory page.

      Login to the manager portal.

    You can then see the current OB server the phone is connected too under hostname.
