This article provides a guide for manually registering an AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom, performing a test call, and configuring its physical call button with a contact.
Scope
This article explains how to manually register the AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom, perform a test call, and add a contact to the call button.
Requirements
- Office Manager access
- AXIS WebUI Access
Obtain SIP Credentials

Log into Manager Portal

Navigate to Phones
- Note: Office Managers can navigate to Users > select the user > Phones
- 3
Select Phone Info for the phone you wish to register.
- Note: You will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or Softphone.
Register Device

Go to Communications > SIP > Accounts > Click Add account
- 2
Add the following:
- 1Name: Input a Name
- 2User ID: Input the Device Extension (include suffix if there's any)
- 3Domain: Input the Domain
- 4Password: Input the Device's Password
- 5Authentication ID: Input the Username
- 6Caller ID: Input the Caller ID
- 7Registrar: Input the Outbound Proxy Address

Save these settings to the device and it will register.
Make a Test Call
- 1Go to Communications > SIP > Test Call
- 2Choose the Account you have registered.
- 3Input the ring group/call queue extension to the SIP address field in this format: "sip:ext@registrar"

sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
- Example:
- 4Click the Call Icon to test.
Add the recipient's extension to the Intercom's Physical Call Button
- 1Go to Communications > Contact List
- 2Add the new Contact to the SIP address in this format: "sip:ext@registrar"
- Example:
sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
- Example:
- 3Go to Communications > Calls
- 4Enable the Call Button
- 5Add your new Contact to the Recipients
