    This article provides a guide for manually registering an AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom, performing a test call, and configuring its physical call button with a contact.

    Scope

    This article explains how to manually register the AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom, perform a test call, and add a contact to the call button.

    Requirements

    • Office Manager access
    • AXIS WebUI Access

    Obtain SIP Credentials

      Log into Manager Portal

      Navigate to Phones

      • Note: Office Managers can navigate to Users > select the user > Phones

      Select Phone Info for the phone you wish to register.

      • Note: You will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or Softphone.

    Register Device

      Go to Communications > SIP > Accounts > Click Add account

      Add the following:

        Name: Input a Name
      2. 2
        User ID: Input the Device Extension (include suffix if there's any)
      3. 3
        Domain: Input the Domain
      4. 4
        Password: Input the Device's Password
      5. 5
        Authentication ID: Input the Username
      6. 6
        Caller ID: Input the Caller ID
      7. 7
        Registrar: Input the Outbound Proxy Address

          sbc.ucaasnetwork.com - ATL

          sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com - IAD
        3. 3
          sbc-phx.ucaasnetwork.com - PHX

      Save these settings to the device and it will register.


    Make a Test Call

      Go to Communications > SIP > Test Call
    2. 2
      Choose the Account you have registered.
    3. 3
      Input the ring group/call queue extension to the SIP address field in this format: "sip:ext@registrar"
      • Example: sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com

      Click the Call Icon to test.

    Add the recipient's extension to the Intercom's Physical Call Button

      Go to Communications > Contact List
    2. 2
      Add the new Contact to the SIP address in this format: "sip:ext@registrar"
      • Example: sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
    3. 3
      Go to Communications > Calls
    4. 4
      Enable the Call Button
    5. 5
      Add your new Contact to the Recipients
