    Grandstream HT812 Provisioning

    **Scope**:

    The following steps will allow you to provision a Grandstream HT8xx ATA for use with your Hosted PBX service. This has been tested with firmware 10.0.25.5.

    Requirements:

    • Device must be plugged into network and power

    • MAC added to the phone of a user

    • Access to Manager Portal

    • An analog phone or IP scanner

    Add Phone to User

      For Model select the appropriate Grandstream HT-8xx device.


    Find IP Address by Phone

      Plug a phone into the #1 phone port
    2. 2
      Dial \\\*
    3. 3
      Dial 02
    4. 4
      Take note of the IPv4 address for the next steps

    Find IP Address by IP Scanner

      Run an IP scanner such as Angry IP scanner to find the IP address of the device.

    Set Provisioning URL

      Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone
    2. 2
      Log in. The default credentials are admin / admin.

    If these do not work, contact your current service provider or the vendor the phones were purchased from. 3. Click on Advanced Settings at the top

    4. Set Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning to HTTP 5. Set the Config Server Path to ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg/

    6. Scroll to the bottom and click Apply 7. Click on Advanced Settings 8. Scroll to the bottom and click Reboot

    This section is for "V2" versions of the ATA. To set the Provisioning URL, please navigate to the following:

      Click on Maintenance > Upgrade > Config File

      Then add the following:

      Config Upgrade via: HTTPS

    4. 4

      Config Server Path:  ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg/

    5. 5

      Config Server Username: Prov_Admin

    6. 6

      Config Server Password: GOTP or the User Device's Password (Seen in the Portal)

      Click Save and Apply

    8. 8

      Reboot the device and the changes will be applied


    Summary

    Upon reboot, you should see the phone icon light up on the ATA's LED panel. This signifies that the ATA is registered.
