    Running Syslog Using Papertrailapp.com

    **Scope:**

    This document will help you set up Syslog server on Grandstream, Polycom, or Yealink phone to Papertrail App.

    Requirements:

    • Access to Manager Portal
    • Public IP Address from Extension that will be logging
    • Access to PaperTrail

    Add Device to PaperTrail

      Click Add Systems

    3. Click on the drop-down option and select Something Else

    4. Scroll down till you get to My Syslog daemon only sends to port 514

    5. Add the following information (see Find Your Public IP Address)

    6. Click Save 7. Proceed to the next step according to the phone manufacture (see Add Custom Overrides)
