SIP Trunking
Yeastar S: Connect a SIP Trunk

**Scope**:
The following steps will allow you to create a SIP Trunk with your hosted PBX for use on the Yeastar S series platform using IP or User based authentication and default inbound and outbound routes.
Requirements:
- This has been tested on version s20, 50 and 100
- Administrator privileges to the web console
- SIP trunk information ( Create a SIP Trunk )
Create an IP based SIP Trunk
Follow this step if the client has a Static IP
- 1Using Chrome or Firefox navigate to the web interface of the PBX.
- 2Click on Setting Icon

- 3Log in with your administrator credentials.
- 4From the navigation at the left select PBX and then Trunks.
- 5Click on Add and fill out the following
- 6Name: Name of the trunk ( Recommended: same name as the trunk name you created )
- 7Trunk Type : Peer Trunk
- 8Protocol: SIP
- 9Hostname/IP: <SBC FQDN> (ie: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com)
- 10Domain: Name of the trunk you created in Manager Portal (Not the domain name the trunk belongs to )
- 11Transport: UDP

- 12Leave everything else default
- 13Click Save
- 14Follow steps 4 to 5 for the remaining SBC FQDN listed here
- 15Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Create a User Based Authentication Trunk
Use this if the client has dynamic ip address.
- 1Navigate to PBX -> Trunks
- 2Click Add and fill out the following
- 3Name: Name of the trunk ( Recommended: same name as the trunk name you created )
- 4Trunk Type: Register Trunk
- 5Protocol: SIP
- 6Transport: DNS-NAPTR
- 7Hostname: Domain name ( This is the domain name where the trunk is assigned )
- 8Username: SIP Username ( Trunk SIP Username)
- 9Password: SIP Password ( Trunk SIP Password )
- 10Ensure Enable Outbound Proxy is checked
- 11Enter your home node SBC FQDN in Outbound proxy server field
- 12Enter port as 5060

- 13Click Save
- 14Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Configure Default Inbound Routes
- 1Navigate to PBX -> Call Control.
- 2Click Inbound Routes tab
- 3Click Add, fill out the following
- 4Name: Default Inbound Route ( Something descriptive )
- 5DID Pattern: Leave default
- 6Member Trunks: Select all available trunks you created listed in available and click the arrow button to move them to selected window

- 7Scroll Down to Destination Section and select the treatment
- 8Hang up, Extension, Voicemail, Extension Range, IVR, Ring Group, Queue, Conference, and External Number

- 9Click Save
- 10Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Configure Outbound Routes
- 1Navigate to PBX -> Call Control
- 2Click Outbound Routes tab
- 3Click Add, fill out the following
- 4Name: Default Outbound Route
- 5Dial Pattern: Leave Default
- 6Member Trunks: Select the SBC Trunks you created and order them by priority based on your home node (ie: sbc-west -> sbc -> sbc-ne )

- 7Click Save
- 8Apply Configuration to save changes.
