Update App Version for Branded SNAPmobile App

Scope​

Intended Audience: White Label Partners and Tech 3 or higher

This article outlines how to add your branded SNAPmobile or CloudieConnect app on iOS & Android to testflight/Internal Testing or testing before pushing to production as well as updating the production version to the latest version.

Requirements​

iOS

  1. Log in to Apple Developer Console

  2. Select App Store Connect.

  3. Click the plus sign next to iOS App.

  4. Enter the version number you wish to update to and click Create

  5. Under Version Information, add any relevant details regarding the update. You may wish to copy the verbiage from the SNAPmobile app store listing

  6. Scroll down to Build and click Select a build before you submit your app.

  7. Select the build you wish to use.

  8. Double check the required login credentials are still valid before submitting for review. These can be found at the bottom of the app build page under App Review Information. ***replace <user>@<domain> with the username and domain name and <password> with the valid password.

  9. Click Save

  10. Click Submit for Review NOTE: If you have not already published your Privacy Policy Settings per Apple's new Privacy Policy Guidlines, you will need to do so before you can Submit for Review. Configure Apple Privacy Settings for Branded SNAPmobile

Android

  1. Log in to Google Play Console

  2. Click Production.

  3. Click Create new release.

  4. Under App bundles, click Upload.

  5. Select the APK you wish to add.

  6. Click Add to release.

  7. Scroll down to Release details.

  8. Leave Release name as is

  9. Under Release notes, add any relevant details regarding the update. You may wish to copy the verbiage from the SNAPmobile play store listing or CloudieConnect play store listing

  10. Click Next

  11. Click Save and Publish. This will now be available to all internal testers.
