Interoperability Testing Checklist

Scope​

Intended Audience: All Users

The function of this checklist is to test all scenarios in which there may be interoperability in service using Asterisk 2.3 - 4.0, Cisco IAD trunk and extensions, Obi ATAs, and 3CX.

Requirements​

  • Access to Equipment

  • Access to Extension for testing

  • Physical and Logical Network Layout

  • Make, Model and Software Version of Equipment Testing

  • Extension remains registered for more than 5 min

  • Two Way Audio

  • DTMF

  • Picking up calls, placed on hold or in parking lot

  • Transferring calls to other extensions

  • Access to voicemail

  • Being on a call for more than 30 min

  • Call not ending when Extension is hung-up (Desk Ext & Mobile Ext)

  • Call Forwarding

  • Show different outbound caller ID

  • CNAM shows correctly

  • Picking up other extensions' calls from another extension
